back in black

accidentally dyed my hair black again. I thought it was a dark brown (technically it is dark brown) but it looks BLACK! I like it, just didn't expect to go back to this color again.

btw. Lost my first 5 pounds :) only 15 more to go and then I can pig out on cheese enchiladas. haha rewarding myself with food seems a little off. oh well...

birthday baby birthday

A few things have happened this summer that I want to share. My mom turned 50! My sister had a baby shower...and we had a second birthday party for my mom. Here are a few pictures of all that jazz!

1st powerlifting meet

I competed in my first powerlifting meet in Tyler, TX on Saturday, June 12. I got first place with a bench press of 110 pounds. I was the only girl in my division and weight class but I'm still proud. I did not train for the meet but started training the next week. I loved competing. I am so glad to have a hobby that requires me to get off my lazy butt. I promised a certain friend that I would post a picture of myself in the uniform that I had to wear but I totally forgot (not sad that I did). I have to wear a wrestling singlet and it is sooo silly looking. I will post a picture next time if it isn't too terrible looking.
